Buy some coffee and rescue a dog

Anyone who has experienced the unconditional love of a pet will get this post. Anyone who hasn't should make it a priority.  No matter what kind of day I've had I look forward to wagging tails and welcoming yips.  As I back my car into the garage I can usually see the back door open and our two furry companions rushing across the yard to greet me. The moment that it takes to let them greet me forces me to reset...I'm home. 

Anyone who follows me on Facebook will see pictures of travel,  coffee and hiking with the dogs.  Now Baxter is our official family dog. He is a purebreed Australian Shepherd with an Aussie attitude (look it up), the grace of an athlete and movie star looks. Then there's our son's dog Abby, she's a rescue. She was from a litter of ten puppies that had been abandoned under a deck in November. At the time we felt that we had a full house and weren't considering any new additions but her story touched us and well the rest is history. 

Now not all of us can adopt a dog or a cat. But there's a way for coffee lovers to help.
