Great Seasonal Coffee’s
It’s that time of year when we are treated to specialty flavoured coffees from some of the big and even some of the smaller coffee houses. My personal favorites are more cinnamon or gingerbread aromatics that remind me of the heartwarming smells from my child hood.
Starbucks Gingerbread Latte – Once the red cups of Starbucks start to appear I change my route to work so that I at least walk through the wonderfully genuine scent of gingerbread at not one but two of the Starbucks in my neighborhood. I have to refrain from grabbing one each time I pass but I stop every other time.
Second Cup Spiced Egg Nog Coffee – Not to be outdone the scent of Gingerbread is aplenty at my local Second Cup. While in line I noted something on the list that I hadn’t seen before the Spiced Egg Nog Coffee and Latte. I tried the Coffee. I was rich and smooth and had just the right hint of Nutmeg scent. Definitely a great treat for a cold winter day.
Timothy’s Christmas Blend – For those of you who not interested in flavoured coffees there are the Christmas blends that start to appear. They tend to be a pre mix of different variety of coffees and sadly they tend to only be around for the month preceding the holidays. The blend a Timothy’s has the right blend of smooth flavor with a medium boldness that I can drink black or with just a hint of sugar.
There are lots of other great seasonal Coffees that I’ve heard about but not been able to find.
