Thankfully the birthplace of SBC coffee has retained the coffeehouse quality and experience. It is a sanctuary from automated coffee baristas and hipster imprinting. Enjoying a cup of locally roasted coffee in the historic building that is free of wifi enabled web-browsers is good for the heart and palate. Usually I shy away from coffee stored in airpots but these folk are able to give you a great cup even out of the airpot. Pump a cup, sit on the porch & enjoy.

No joke, not only the best cup of coffee on the island, but the best coffee in the greater Seattle area and beyond. Don't waste your time stopping at Cafe Tuna, The Roasterie is where it's at.
